My friend and I were traveling through Italy touring the old cities. We selected the hotel both because of the price and the photos. It was the first time that the hotel pool photo was accurate showing a delightful rest stop if able to use. Great staff. Close to the city. J

We stayed for the price. Traveling in early November we paid 49Euro for two, parking included. The room was nice size, very plain, and clean. I asked for a poolside room so noise from street was not a problem. The walls are very, very thin (you can hear cell phones ringing) but fortunately the other guests were quite polite. The hotel is about a mile from the Siena escalators. The breakfast buffet included rolls, lunch style meat, cheese, yogurt, cereal, juice, and a coffee machine. (I did not like the cappuccino from the machine). The lady servicing the buffet did an excellent job and was quite nice. Pool is seasonal.
I was expecting to be closer to Siena. The hotel is on a busy road with bus service that runs every 20 minutes, but only until 8:30pm. We ended up driving to a public parking lot at the base of the escalator for 1.70Euro/hr.

The reception staff were excellent and also spoke very good English which was useful. There is a lovely swimming pool with sitting area and our room was very nice and clean with good facilities. It also overlooked the pool, patio area and, further back, the secure car park. The hotel is about one kilometre up a hill from the old city but on the side of the city escalator so once through the city wall it's easy to get up to the main centre itself. The hotel is in the main road into the town so you might go past it as we did first time but it is well situated for easy in/out of the city - that's if the pool doesn't encourage you to stay and relax instead. Good value for money in our opinion and would definitely stay there again if we return to the lovely city.
It would be nice to be able to make a cup if coffee in the room but as with many European hotels, there is no kettle to do so. Minor gripe really!

It had a swimming pool that came very handy at the end of June. Free parking is a great thing when having a rented car to tour Tuscany. A good restaurant near-by. Laundromat and grocery close when having a car. Siena center is a 15 min walk from the hotel. Very close to the highway. Provides for fast travel to major tourist attractions in Tuscany.

A very good hotel which would suit motoring travellers very well. It is also right next door to the bus stop, meaning very good access to the old and new Siena. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and the little township is walkable - to food and mini-mart which has an excellent deli. To purchase bus tickets, go to the little shop next to the mini-mart (news-agency) and ask for bus tickets which cost 1.10 euro each. You just put the ticket into the machine when you hop on the bus ant the machine stamps the ticket. Take bus 54 to the old city as it is quiet a climb to walk. To go to the new town and the train station use number 3 bus. When travelling on the bus from the train station, the hotel comes into view near a roundabout and hop out at that stop and cross the road to the hotel.
The bathroom in room 301 is a bit of a squeeze, need to dry of in the shower or the bedroom!

Appreciated how perfect the property was and its outstandingly accommodating staff at all times. The location was excellent and unbeatable, around 10-15 minutes walk from Cripta Archaeological Museum. Plus it was in a pretty quiet area.

The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any inquiries. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to major roads and transportation options.
The hotel was located a bit far from the city center, making it less convenient for exploring the area. the noise from the busy street outside could be bothersome, especially for light sleepers.

Good location for visitin historical Siena. It has a very nice pool and patio area that was great for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The front desk staff was very freindly. Breakfast was adequate. Great value!
The road noise if you have a room in the front. Although a few glasses of vino before bedtime, seem to solve that issue.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
